Khara Williams is the energetic and vibrant founder of Herde. She aims to empower every woman to take control of their lives through her unique model of self-leadership. Growing up on the banks of the Murray River, her roots were nourished with firm, down-to-earth values and Khara developed a passion for influencing the world around her with positive change. As she moved into womanhood, this drive manifested itself as a force to create the community that she always wanted, drawing in women from all walks of life.

Khara combines strategic thinking, business acumen, intuition and compassion to lead large-scale teams in her various senior executive roles and it’s these qualities that shape how she inspires those around her. Driven by her innate desire to help people, Khara has spent time working in remote Indigenous communities and in Sri Lanka, working in an orphanage in Kurunegala. These experiences have affirmed her ambition to make a difference in people’s lives, but they have also been her awakening.

“I know the juggle and struggle the modern woman faces and believe the best way for women to achieve their goals is to surround themselves with a supportive and trusted community.” Khara is a proud wife and mama to two beautiful boys. And yet, managing the balance between wife, mother, daughter, friend and senior executive is one that continues to challenge and delight. Herde is just as important to her life as it is to ours.
